We are development professionals firmly believing in education and improving livelihoods through value-chains 

FariSilk buys directly from small artisanal producers, many of them women, in hard to access developing countries. By buying a product from FairSilk you improve the livelihoods of the producers and their families

One part of our net profit is reinvested in our producers. The other part finances the activities of the development initiative Teach a Child – Africa

The NGO Teach a Child – Africa (est. in 2007), finances the secondary education of academically highly talented orphans in Kenya

Teach a Child – Africa (www.tac-africa.org) was co-founded by the same individuals who stand behind FairSilk.
